You must be 18 or older to submit a story. Published files are on X and subject to X’s own terms; the material is written by adults about adult situations and is not moderated for a younger audience.

• You confirm the story is yours and describes something that actually happened to you.
• You confirm you have the right to share it, and that it doesn't identify anyone else.
• You grant BAGFILES a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, format, excerpt, translate and distribute it — including on social platforms — anonymously.
• You keep whatever rights you have in your own story. This licence is non-exclusive: it's still yours to tell elsewhere.
• You're not entitled to payment, and no payment is offered or implied.

• Publish it, or not. Submitting is never a guarantee of publication.
• Edit it for clarity, grammar, length, formatting or safety — without changing what it means.
• Assign it a file number and a category.
• Decline it, remove it, or take it down later, at our discretion and without notice.
• Publish an excerpt or a file card on social platforms, always anonymously.

We won’t add events, opinions or details you didn’t write, and we won’t attach a name to your story.

BAGFILES publishes personal accounts, not guidance. Nothing in any file is investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. The people writing these stories are describing what happened to them — often precisely because it went wrong.

Stories are submitted anonymously and cannot be independently verified. We reject what we believe to be fabricated, but we can’t confirm any account is true and we don’t present any file as verified fact. Treat it as testimony, not record.

• Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape at volume, or gain unauthorised access to any part of this site.
• Don't submit automatically, in bulk, or through anything other than the form.
• Don't try to identify the author of a file, or use BAGFILES to target anyone.
• Don't repost BAGFILES images as your own. Quoting or resharing a file with credit is fine and welcome.
